Byrgundy Mallory is the reigning Ms. US Festivals and Miss Southeast Queen Wonder Supreme. She has made history by being one of the youngest females to be inducted into the Miss Black Universe Organization. Miss. Mallory has made history by being named the first woman in the world to hold two consecutive Miss Black Universe titles (2012-2013 and 2013-2014).

A 2020 Global Beauty of Awards (Known as the Oscars of Pageantry) Best Content Nominee, Krystle Saulsberry is a self-proclaimed introvert with a Southern Girl charm who is unapologetic about who she is and what she does. She is the Owner & Founder of Krystle Clear Pageantry where she helps ladies take the next “Krystle Clear” step so they can go from uncertainty to confidence towards the crown. This former Ms. of America 2020 has nearly 20 years of pageantry experience as a titleholder, judge, coach, emcee, content creator, and stage manager. Her show “Manifest the Crown Monday” showcases live interviews of pageant titleholders from around the world and serves as an educational platform to discuss all things pageantry.

2. Brett Brooks, Pageants & Prosecco
If you are a lover of both pageants and wine, then Brett is the best friend in your head. Brett Brooks known to family and close friends as Brittanie is the Founder & CEO of Pageants & Prosecco. She is also the reigning Miss Illinois North America 2021 and Illinois & Wisconsin Regional Coordinator for the Miss Earth USA organization. P&P began as a podcast born out of her drive to better the pageant world by talking about the negative experiences she endured as both a contestant for over 10 years and as staff and judge for other systems. She’s a 4x Miss Illinois and competed in a handful of systems from the local Miss America competitions, Miss Earth USA, Miss United States, Miss North America, Miss Black America, Miss Black USA, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Teen USA state for Illinois and a few collegiate pageants. 1. Tecoya Harris, Black Girls Reign
Seeing a lack of Black titleholders being highlighted on pageant based social media accounts, Tecoya Harris founded Black Girls Reign as a solution. Tecoya is an actress, model, and speaker currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Chicago, IL, she is the former Miss Black DC USA 2013, danced for 4 years as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader, and has hosted various charity events in DC. Some of her most memorable moments include: performing for our troops in Afghanistan, dancing in the Hong Kong New Year’s Parade, and being selected as a 2013 Pro Bowl Cheerleader.
Black Girls Reign was started in 2014 as a social media platform that highlighted the work of our queens across the country. Since its inception, Black Girls Reign has hosted collegiate platforms and workshops to motivate and support women in the world of pageantry. Tecoya started the Black Girls Reign page six months after her reign as Miss DC USA 2013, and it has grown to 14.5K followers on Instagram.
