The Traveling Queen Chronicles is a series that details my travel adventures. This queen may love her gown and crown, but she loves to travel the world too.
This is a sponsored post; however, all opinions are mine.
On July 30, 2016, I had the pleasure of traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, to visit the most exciting theme park in America: Six Flags Over Georgia! Yes, I am a bit of a theme park fanatic because I absolutely love rides! Anything that spins me around and takes me around a narrow curve is an exhilarating experience, and I love it! Six Flags Over Georgia is home to my favorites such as the Georgia Scorcher, Dahlonega Mine Train, and the Sky Screamer. On this particular visit I had to alter my normal Six Flags ride routine because I was traveling with family, and a good thrill ride is not their ministry. However, I did get my mom to try the THE JOKER Chaos Coaster which was a bit much for me and her to handle. Before the ride was complete, rain came pouring down on us!
On this particular visit, my ride schedule (see below) consisted a mixture of thrill, family, and kids rides.
GOTHAM CITY Crime Wave
THE JOKER Chaos Coaster
Bugs Bunny High Sea Adventure
Dahlonega Mine Train (twice)
Sky Buckets
Sky Screamer
Rockin’ Tug
Riverview Carousel
Up, Up, and Away
In addition to the rides, I was able to visit Hurricane Harbor as well. Hurricane Harbor is the new multi-million dollar water park inside of Six Flags Over Georgia. It is included free with a Six Flags Over Georgia admission. I had the pleasure of experiencing Calypso Bay while I was at the park. It was relaxing and the four foot waves added to the thrill.
I thoroughly enjoyed Six Flags Over Georgia, and I am never disappointed each time I visit. I even plan on going back next month. To learn more about Six Flags Over Georgia or to purchase tickets, visit https://www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia.
