Pageant Girl Participates in the 4th Annual Cynthia Bailey Model Search

On July 17, 2015, I received an email from the Bailey Agency School of Fashion stating that I was selected to participate in the 4^th Annual Cynthia Bailey Model Search.  A few weeks prior to receiving the email, I went on the model search’s website and submitted my photo and information. Honestly, I did not have any high expectations on being selected as a finalist because this pageant girl has no real experience in the modeling industry. Well, I guess they saw enough in my photo to want to see me in person. The model search took place on August 8, 2015, at the Sheraton Hotel in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Nearly 400 males and females ages 13 and up participated in the teen/adult search.  The event began with each participant checking in with staff members. We received a number, and we submitted two pictures (head shot and full body shot) plus information related to our measurements. Each participant lined up in numeric order and walked for the judges. The judges represented top model agencies such as Wilhelmina Models and Click Models.  Even though I did not win the search, I am grateful for the experience. I met some positive people who are going after their dreams and had the courage to showcase their talents before top model agency professionals. This is just a stepping stone for greater things in my modeling journey. The possibilities are endless.
