This month’s pageant feature is Miss Black US Ambassador/Miss Black Teen US Ambassador. Miss Black US Ambassador/Miss Black Teen US Ambassador is a program of Ambassadors of Change, Inc., and it is designed to give opportunities to young African-American women.
The Founder/National Director is Patrice Harrison. Oluwakemi Olurotimi is the 2018 Miss Black US Ambassador and Brooklynn Douglas is the 2018 Miss Black US Teen Ambassador.
The competition is open to ladies ages 14-29, and they must be African-American, Afro-Caribbean, or of African descent.
The categories of competition are interview, evening gown, fitness, and on-stage question. Other events include the Call Me Ambassador Conference, Ambassador of Change Luncheon, and a host of other pageant related activities.
The national pageant is held in Atlanta, Georgia, and the 2019 pageant will be held July 28th-August 4th.
