Krystle’s 10 Commandments of Pageantry

Manifesting a crown is not for the faint of heart. It takes courage, discipline, and patience to endure this journey. Below I have created my own version of the 10 commandments as it relates to pageantry. These personal commandments have garnered me much success throughout my pageant career.

1. Thou shall develop high self-esteem and self-confidence.
2. Thou shall develop a positive mindset and a winning attitude.
3. Thou shall find a mentor or a coach.
4. Thou shall be a good listener and follow directions.
5. Thou shall set goals.
6. Thou shall study to show thyself approved. (2 Timothy 2:15)
7. Thou shall have a servant’s heart.
8. Thou shall model professionalism.
9. Thou shall look the part.
10. Thou shall get rid of thy excuses.
